Gospel music has always been a bridge to the Kingdom for me it has allowed me to go thru whatever it is that I am facing at the moment. I look for the Kingdom in every situation. I've been blessed to meet a lot of good people in my and some of them people have planted seeds in my soul that God nurtured as I matured in life. I had a manager that suffered a great lost in his life and gospel music helped him through that difficult time. I could relate. Gospel music has a way of allowing me to deal with my feeling and come out refreshed and ready to move forward. Sometimes I have to listen to a song on repeat or until my Spirit is settled. I can remember when I heard the song, He Wants It All by the Jones Family I felt the message of the song in my Spirit. I was really in a place in my life where I desperately needed and wanted God and I willingly gave Him my all. I've always been a faithful person the music just helped me connect to my feelings and allowed me to work thru them spiritually. There are many songs that I can pinpoint to specific milestones in my life. I remember the spiritual feeling that I had you know that Aha moment when everything clicks together. Music is a ministry it does matter what you listen to remember faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). The job of the Holy Spirit is to bring to remembrance the Word of God when you need it. You'll be surprised how much Word is being downloaded in your spirit while listens to Gospel music. #MaybeThisHelps.
